All this is possible because your savings account represents a share in ownership. Simply put, we are owned and operated by members. Unlike publicly-held financial institutions, Lookout Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative, so our members are the shareholders. All income after operating expenses and reserve allocations is returned to you via higher dividends and great loan rates. So, while you have your choices of where to put your money, why not put it someplace where you’re treated like an owner?
Switch to Lookout Credit Union
It’s Easy to Switch!
Step One:
Open a Lookout Credit Union checking account.
Step Two:
Redirect your Direct Deposit to your new Lookout Credit Union account by submitting the attached Direct Deposit Authorization form to your employer. If your employer has a company form they’d like you to use, our form will be useful for finding our routing number, address, etc.
Step Three:
Redirect automatic payments from your previous account by filling out and sending an Automatic Payment Change Notification form to each company that receives an automatic payment from you.
Step Four:
To close your checking account at another financial institution, fill out the Checking Account Closure Notification form and send it to the financial institution that currently has your checking account. Make sure all checks have cleared and all automatic payments have been redirected to your Lookout Credit Union account before you close your current account
