Why Rangers?

The rebrand in 2021 gave us the opportunity to align the volunteer program with our renewed spirit. Rangers are the ones you can rely on. They tread fearlessly down their own path towards new destinations. The foundation of the program is to be a positive force for good in the community, driven to make a difference. The Ranger program is made up of Lookout Credit Union Employees who donate their time to causes they care about. We’re all about giving back, and taking pride in our communities where we live, work, and play.

Community Ranger Program 

In 2022, we rolled out our Community Ranger Program to allow community members and non-employees to combine forces with Lookout CU Rangers to help volunteer at events throughout the year. Join the movement and help make our communities a better place today! Learn more

Do Rangers only do volunteer work?

We love helping where we can. You’ll often see our volunteers at events like Revive at 5, Costco Shop Night, and many of the holiday parades. Event volunteering promotes a strong feeling of unity and comradery among our staff, and the communities we serve.

Sponsorships

Donations

• Over the past five years we have donated the following amounts to multiple clubs and organizations, everything from sports teams, to fundraisers, to education, we love to support many causes.

HERO Home Loan

• Whether or not you are a first responder, in the healthcare world, or an educator… we know you are out there saving the world. The Hero Home Loan was made specifically for you, our community heroes. This mortgage loan offers a low down payment (99% loan-to-value ratio) and an origination fee reimbursement up to 50%.*

Educator Home Loan

• The Educator Home Loan is designed especially for employees of our education partners. With benefits such as waived origination fee (1% of the loan amount) and waived lender fees, it’s the idea choice for educators. Also, with each EHL, we donate $250 back to a school or program of your choice. As a result, we have donated over $30,000 to our area schools.

Financial Education

• Here at Lookout CU, we believe in a healthy financially fit lifestyle. We sponsor a virtual financial literacy program called Banzai, free to all of our members and partners! Teachers can order materials and worksheets to accompany their classroom, and we can even provide an depth financial literacy presentation onsite in your classroom.

Community Resources

• We know it can be hard to find a professional meeting room for your group. Our Community Room at our Sunnyside Branch is great place for small groups of professionals to meet free of charge. We have seating for approximately 20 people and have a projector available for your meeting needs. Please contact us at 208-235-7100 to schedule your group.

Community Partner Support

• We are here for you. Our Business Development Officers support our partnership needs through donations, sponsorships and events. We take care of the needs of our partners and their employees. Whether or not it’s through education, financial literacy, or promoting employee benefits and wellness. Their mission becomes our mission.
